  1. All Mac versions of CameraBag have now been updated to v3.0.21 (this is a compatibility update only, which is why Windows remains at v3.0.2). A free update for all CameraBag 3.x license holders, you should download your update the same way you originally purchased CameraBag: via the Mac App Store or via the Nevercenter website. This update resolves video processing issues with CameraBag Cinema on High Sierra, updates splash screens for Retina displays, and fixes a bug that caused a crash when attempting to open photos from Finder or the Photos app in MacOS High Sierra. With the update to High Sierra, Apple has (finally) re-enabled direct interactions between their Photos app and external photo editors. Simply right-click on a photo in the Photos app, choose "Edit With" from the menu, then select your version of CameraBag!
  2. LOCAL ADJUSTMENTS

Local adjustments are definitely something we bring up regularly in our discussion of development and the directions to go in. There are some functionality/interface questions to solve with this whole new "kind" of adjustment and discussions on implementation are mostly what have been holding us back--we definitely recognize the value in having local adjustments to go along with the global ones. We have been doing some back-end testing and it's looking more and more like this is a direction we could go in. Thanks for your feedback! Hearing what CameraBag users want really does help us decide what is added and how the software develops--we want it to be the best tool it can be.
  3. Bad SCALING on 15 inch 4k display

So sorry--we got a bit sidetracked on this particular issue, but this is definitely something we would like to fix and we are now working on it again.
  4. PLS HELP WITH wic error: pFactory is NULL

Hi! Our apologies about the problems with not opening photos--can you tell us any more information about your system and what is happening? (Mac/PC, OS version, how to reproduce the error, if it has ever worked for you, etc) If you would like to request a refund, please write in to support@nevercenter.com.
  5. WIC error: pFactory is NULL

Thanks for the updates! We will look into this further.
  6. LUTs and Lab

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, we do have a Windows version of CameraBag Cinema in the works, and hope to release it before too long. (If you want to make sure you're among the first to know when a beta/release version comes out, you can sign up for the updates newsletter on the front page of http://nevercenter.com)
  7. Sorry we missed your reply for so long! It sounds like the problem is related to Steam security--in that they set the system to confirm you want to 1) launch Steam and 2) run a game and 3) include a specific file as part of that process... before just doing that (unusual-for-Steam-games) task automatically. Although opening a photo in CameraBag wouldn't be a security issue, it is possible that opening some malicious file on your computer in a different "game" that was intended to cause harm could cause unexpected behavior on a computer; our guess is that Valve has this prompt set up as part of Steam to ensure that you didn't accidentally click on something. The confusion here is that Steam is actually starting up and then running CameraBag, rather than CameraBag running on its own, so this prompt doesn't come from CameraBag 3 Photo, but instead comes from the Steam app engine. This security check may have been included with an update to Steam itself--does CameraBag 2 still open JPGs without the popup or is this now also an issue with CameraBag 2? We'll see if there is anything we can do on our end, but since the message is actually coming from Steam, you may want to contact them and see if they can tell you how to disable it on their system. (Sorry we aren't able to offer more of a fix immediately from our end!)
  8. We're prepping a plugin that allows CameraBag Cinema to work as a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro, take a look!
  9. Window size/position error on opening

From a Facebook user, 1/31/17: For some reason my CameraBag Photo software always opens like this. Is there anyway to get it to remember the window size and position? The previous edition did not have this issue. I am using version 3.0.100
