Crashing/Memory (RAM) Issues
Crashing issues can usually be linked to memory (RAM) management errors from other applications on the phone.
RAM isn't the "space available" on a system, but rather something the system uses to process information. When applications use system RAM, they claim it for themselves, and should return it to the system for general use when they are done with it. Some applications for the iPhone do a better job at this than others, and there are some iPhone applications available that "use up" this RAM without returning it.
When there isn't enough "unclaimed" RAM left on the phone for CameraBag to process images, the program crashes. Although the lack of available memory affects CameraBag, the root of the problem is unfortunately out of our control. We have been working on reducing this issue as much as possible.
Doing a hard reboot of your iPhone will clean out this RAM and make it available for use again, solving the problem for at least a while.
The easiest way to do a hard reboot is to hold down the sleep/wake button at the top right of the phone until the "Slide to Power Off" slider appears. Then slide the slider to turn the phone off. Once the phone is off, hold down the sleep/wake button again to turn the phone back on and simply wait for the iPhone to reboot.
