Blender Plugin for Live Editing Objects with Silo
Now that we’ve brought UDIM UV texturing and USD support to Silo, our main Silo development focus is creating the new add-on for Blender! This will allow for objects to be selected in Blender and sent to Silo for editing—the object in Blender will auto-update as you save in Silo, providing a seamless workflow between the two apps. We’ve made good progress so far and are excited to add this to the Silo toolkit very soon!
Coming Soon to CameraBag: Image Overlay Transformation
One of the coming updates to CameraBag is an upgrade (and a new name!) for the “Composite Image” adjustment. Along with the opacity and advanced blend modes for easy double exposures, image overlays, textures, and more, you’ll now be able to move and transform the overlaid image for more creative control and options. With the rename to “Image Overlay”, this will now live next to the “Text Overlay” adjustment in the Utility section.
