Some exciting things will be coming soon to your favorite Nevercenter apps!
In addition to the recent updates to CameraBag, Silo, Milo, and Pixelmash (updates are FREE for licenses purchased from nevercenter.com within the last year—check your license at nevercenter.com/upgrade), we've been hard at work and have some sneak peeks to share about at what's coming up next:
CameraBag Adds Bokeh Lights
Coming soon to CameraBag is the ability to simulate the neat effects of bokeh on background lights when shooting with a high-end SLR. There’s a randomized element to it for infinite variations, but you can also adjust density, coloring, and advanced positioning with blur and light detection.
Silo 2022 Beta 2 Nearing Release
We've received tons of great feedback on the first Silo 2022 beta, and have been squashing tons of bugs and also making long-requested improvements (like being able to open multiple tool windows simultaneously and putting material changes on the undo stack). The next beta will be available very shortly!
VR and Materials Updates in Milo
We're working on improving the VR experience in Milo, and continuing to update the playable character support we added in the last update. (Download the last update, Milo 2022.0, at nevercenter.com/milo.)
Video Export and Vector Layer Advancements in Pixelmash
The next Pixelmash release will let you export video files of your animated art (.mov, .mp4, and .m4v files) along with the usual .gif export. We’re also working on more improvements to vector layers (currently imported from SVG files), including the ability to split a single vector layer with multiple shapes into multiple layers with one shape each.
As always, we love to hear from you—send us an email at support@nevercenter.com, or reach out via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or YouTube. We want to hear your thoughts so we can keep updating with your requests, and we love to see what you are creating!
Best,
Nevercenter
Nevercenter is a small group of software artists making the kind of creative software we most enjoy using—for 3D modeling and rendering, editing photos and videos, and creating pixel art.
