New Arch Primitive, Subdivision Modifier, and More in the Next Silo Release
The next Silo release will include several amazing new features, including a powerful new primitive type for creating a wide range of architectural arches (with various settings for shape, fill type, and more), a new subdivision modifier with a special shape preservation feature, enhanced multi-monitor support allowing Silo to open exactly where you left it, plus other bug fixes and improvements.
Milo 2023 is Here with Two New Light Rigs and a Major Upgrade to UE5!
Milo is new and improved for 2023, with a major upgrade under the hood to Unreal Engine 5, the state-of-the-art game engine upon which it's built. The upgrade brings immediate improvements to raytracing (on supported graphics cards) and volumetric clouds, adds global illumination cast from the floor in the Color Room, and better rendering, and allows for many opportunities for future development! We've also added two powerful new lighting rigs designed for raytracing: Lightbox and Ring Light. Download v2023.0 here
Animated Gif Import Coming Soon to Pixelmash!
Pixelmash will soon have the ability to import animated gifs! This will allow you to do things like create complex animated scenes in smaller pieces as individual documents, which can then be imported into a larger project via animated gif. There are also just lots of animated gifs out there that you can import into Pixelmash to study exactly how someone has made a cool pixel art animation. Stay tuned!
CameraBag 2023.1 Released with Powerful New File Browsing Features
The just-released CameraBag 2023.1 features some powerful new ways to navigate and browse through all of the image/video files in a given folder. There's a brand new File Browser tab in the right hand panel that lets you see all the files in the same folder as the loaded file, and a Files Quicklook command which gives you a gorgeous full-screen thumbnail chooser to browse through the same folder.
