Description
The Custom Primitive menu mirrors the "Primitives" folder in the Silo program folder on the user's hard drive. Any files placed in that folder will be easily accessible from within Silo via this menu. Several custom primitives are shipped with Silo, including base character models and useful lighting setups, but users may wish to augment these with their own commonly-used files. Files loaded from this menu will be loaded into the current scene.
Notes
- Anything in a scene, including elements other than objects, that can be saved out can be used as a custom primitive. Examples include custom lighting setups, materials, and textured panels for applying reference images.
Known Bugs
- None
Limitations
- The folder does not display sub-directories, so all content must be placed directly in the Primitives folder.
