Description

The Custom Primitive folder mirrors the folder Primitives in the Silo program directory on the user's hard drive. Any files placed in that directory will be easily accessible from within Silo. Several custom primitives are shipped with Silo, including base character models and useful lighting setups, but users may wish to augment these with their own commonly-used objects or settings.

Notes

  • Anything in a scene, including elements other than objects, can be saved out and used as a custom primitive. Examples include custom lighting setups, materials, and textured panels for applying reference images.

Known Bugs

  • None

Limitations

  • The folder does not display sub-directories, so all content must be placed directly in the Primitives folder.
