Part I: Getting Started with a Reference Image

The first video shows loading a reference image and creating the base head from the Custom Primitives menu. Soft selection and mirroring are enabled, and used with the Move manipulator tool to start roughing out the shape of the head.

Part II: Matching The Image Using Displacement Brushes

This video shows using the displacement brushes on the base mesh to continue roughing out the head shape to match the reference image. Some of the displacement brushes used are Move, Smooth, and Push.
