Menu Path: UVs/Materials > Recreate UVs > Using Planar Regions
Description
Recreates selected UVs by dividing the section into planar regions, based on a specified angle tolerance. This command is particularly useful for unwrapping hard surface models with flat surfaces and hard edges.
Options
Degree Tolerance
- The UVs will be separated into islands based on angles which are sharper than this tolerance. Higher values will keep curvier sections together.
Notes
- This command can be applied to component selections (such as selected faces) if you only want to recreate UVs for part of the object.
