New Arch Primitive, Subdivision Modifier, and More in the Next Silo Release
The next Silo release will include several amazing new features, including a powerful new primitive type for creating a wide range of architectural arches (with various settings for shape, fill type, and more), a new subdivision modifier with a special shape preservation feature, enhanced multi-monitor support allowing Silo to open exactly where you left it, plus other bug fixes and improvements.

“Gearing Up” for the Next Silo Release
As we sneakily hinted at in our last newsletter, we've been working over the last few months on adding modifiers into Silo, which will allow you to change an object’s geometry in a non-destructive way. This will open up the possibility for all sorts of new features and workflows. More immediately, we're adding some fun new primitives, including a a powerful new gear/wheel primitive which is perfect for making wheels, cogs, and even castle towers!

In the next version of Pixelmash, you will be able to adjust the blend mode for any layer, which will change how that layer interacts with the layers beneath it.
